What was once a family home, a place of warmth, comfort, and genuine care has grown into a 12-room boutique hotel. Built by the Van Tongeren family, whose Dutch–Kenyan heritage is deeply woven into the spirit of the hotel, this home was created with the belief that everyone deserves a place where they feel safe, grounded, and completely at ease.

For the family, safety has always been the foundation of everything. Not only a sense of physical comfort, but the kind of peace that allows you to rest deeply, breathe freely, and reconnect with yourself. From that feeling of security comes the freedom to explore. To discover nature, new experiences, and the world around you, knowing you always have a place to return to. Today, that sense of family remains at the heart of everything we do.

Surrounded by serene gardens and the beauty of nature, our hotel invites guests to slow down and unwind. Here, responsibilities fade into the background, details are thoughtfully cared for, and every space is designed to feel familiar and welcoming.

The spirit of the hotel lives within the people who care for it. Many members of our team have been part of the family’s journey for decades, long before the house became a hotel.
